Sawston just about deserved to take the points from a very entertaining and close game having looked the more dangerous of the two sides. Wratting dominated possession but despite some high quality build up play failed to create enough clear cut chances to win the game. Sawston however always looked threatening on the break and took the lead before half time, number eleven colliding with his own player before beating Brown the Wratts defence in tatters. Child putting in another fine performance at right back gave Wratting their best chance chance of the first half swinging in an excellent delivery behind Sawston's line of defence, unfortunately with just too much pace on it for Bolton. The second half had new recruit Harry Willet making his debut in midfield and he got off to a confident start spreading the ball wide to Biggs who seemed to have the better of Sawston's right back and after some sustained pressure the Wratts equalised through Percy, an excellent finish turning and catching the bouncing ball on the volley. And having survived a couple of scary moments the Wratts could have taken the lead when Warnock with only the keeper to beat went narrowly wide of the far post but fortune was with Sawston, a late corner some what flukely diverted into the goal. Man of the match Cameron Biggs.
