2007 - West Wratting Under 11s (16/06/09)
What a cracking season, local derbys with Thurlow and Balsham, but it was all in vein as Wratting finished in a deflated 3rd behind neighbours Thurlow and in top place Linton Aztecs Juniors who then folded!
2006 - West Wratting Under 10s (16/06/09)
This season was a great battle with Aztecs, Sawston and Elsenham with Wratting for a successive season finishing in pole position!
2005 - West Wratting Under 9s (03/10/08)
2005 saw the team consolidate into 2 teams the Beasts and the Knights. The West Wratting Beasts finished in top spot just above Sawston United in a nailbiting climax to the season.
September 2004 West Wrattin Youth Under 8s were placed into the Cambs Mini Soccer league with games against: Spartak 78' A - Fulbourn Falcons - Sawston United - Balsham Boys - NST Strikers - Linton Aztecs - Elsenham Youth - Withersfield Colts and Plantation Youth. A variation of results saw all players having a terriffic season! This 2004-5 season saw West Wratting Youth achieve Charter Standard Club status.
Would moving kids' football to a summer game help improve the development of young footballers?
Yes - better pitches mean a better chance to develop technique/skills
No - wouldn't make any real difference to development
Maybe - but I'd be worried about more injuries on firm pitches
